It’s runs from Monday 20th May until Saturday 22nd June 2013 and features 15 new pieces. I love painting watercolours as I find I have more freedom painting them than when I was designing pottery as I don’t have to worry about things like whether the pattern will be easy to reproduce and how long it would take to actually paint. I don’t think collectors realised how constraining and therefore frustrating it was sometimes!

I will hopefully have some directly for sale on here in time (children allowing!). I hope to produce different sized ones with varied amount of detail and therefore varying prices too.

I’m also currently working on something completely different, but more about that later.

Welcome to my blog and new look website! I have been meaning to do this since I retired from my ceramic manufacturing business 4 years ago, but family life has got in the way (not that I’m complaining!).

I’m now a full time mum to two beautiful girls, Izzy who is nearly 7 and Mya, a happy 3 year old (how time flies!), but i still love to be creative by painting, particularly watercolours as the technique is not too different from how I used to paint my ceramics, and crafting.

With the new blog I hope to keep you informed of all if my future projects & ideas aswell as visiting some of my old ceramic pieces.
